Marketing & Graphic Design description 

The marketing coordinator is responsible for providing support to the entire marketing team and will be the lead graphic designer for the MBAF marketing team. Responsibilities include:

  • Create all graphic work such as adverts, brochures, templates, stationary as well as formatting presentations, marketing documents, etc.
  • Provide support to sales and marketing as necessary including:
    • Research prospects and target lists
    • Assembly brochures and other sales materials
    • Format and create presentations
  • Set-up, attend, and break-down tradeshow booths
  • Create, update, and manage professional biographies
  • Provide support to employee/community relations
    • Produce internal newsletter
    • Coordinate and provide support for both internal events as well as employee/community events
  • Provide support to marketing department
  • Special projects as assigned

 

Social Media description 

Working with the Director of Marketing, the social media coordinator oversees MBAF’s social media outreach programs.

  • Execute social campaigns in their entirety including conception, coordination, and implementation.
  • Provide support for recruiting efforts via online media sites such as Glassdoor.com
  • Provide LinkedIn training to professionals

 

Knowledge of all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ and tools such as Hootsuite.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or business degree
  • Entry-level position; 1-2 years marketing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (working knowledge of Hootsuite preferred)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent writing skills; critical-thinker; team-oriented; detailed; multi-tasker
  • Great customer relationship skills
