Frank Gonzalez has been appointed to the board of the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors.
Frank Gonzalez, CPA/CFF, managing principal of the Miami office and the principal-in-charge of the Audit Department at nationally recognized public accounting firm MBAF, has been appointed to the board of The Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors. Gonzalez leads MBAF’s Financial Institutions and SEC practices.
The Alliance of M&A Advisors® (The Alliance) is the premiere international organization serving the educational and transactional support needs of middle market M&A professionals worldwide. The organization’s primary goals are to help members improve their level of knowledge, give them access to tools to help them better market and deliver their services and provide them with a network of knowledgeable professionals with whom they can share information and resources.
Gonzalez maintains full oversight of operations of MBAF’s headquarters located in the 1450 Brickell building in downtown Miami. Gonzalez also continues to serve as principal-in-charge of the firm’s Audit Department across all offices, where he oversees the execution of processes and quality control, maintaining the department’s standards and ensuring the use of best practices among his team.
Actively involved in advancing the accounting profession, Gonzalez serves as a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs; advisory board member of the Cuban-American CPAs; and a board member and past president of the South Florida Banking Institute.
He is equally dedicated to the community, serving on the board of directors for the Area Stage Company; treasurer for the CINTAS Foundation; member of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana; board member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce; board member of Miami Dade College’s Center for Financial Training; and board member for the United Way of Miami-Dade. In 2015, he was elected to the Executive Committee and the board of directors of the Orange Bowl, where he currently serves as Treasurer.
Gonzalez earned his Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor of Accounting from Florida International University.
