Trump Administration Formally Seeks Renegotiation on NAFTA
Although President Trump has not been a big fan of NAFTA, he has chosen to bring NAFTA up to date through renegotiation rather than to immediately terminate it. The President seems to have softened his thoughts on the long-standing trade agreement, and that could bode well for the auto industry. In light of recent meetings with the leaders of Mexico and Canada President, Trump believes the end result of the renegotiation will make all three countries stronger and better.
