Adam C. Ziffer, CPA, is a director in the Tax and Accounting Department at MBAF. Adam has been in the public accounting profession since 1995.
Adam has extensive accounting experience with particular industry knowledge of franchises, hotels, real estate developers, software developers, restaurants, telecommunications and wholesale/distribution. He is responsible for tax quality review and planning for closely-held businesses and individuals ranging in size from start-ups to $300 million in revenues. Adam has also worked with foreign nationals to ensure proper tax compliance for both green card holders and resident aliens. Adam has expertise in GAAP financial statement presentation in several industries including franchises and real estate rental and developmental companies. Adam has presented seminars on Statement on Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARs) No. 21 and is well versed in the financial reporting practice area.
Adam specializes in corporate, individual, and partnership tax planning with an emphasis on real estate acquisition, professional associations and closely-held companies. Adam has assisted clients on several cost segregation studies which have led to significant tax deferrals.
