Astrid B. Andrade, CPA, is a senior manager in the Audit Department at MBAF. Astrid has extensive experience providing services to financial services entities, including international and domestic banks.
Astrid has been in the public accounting profession since 2004 providing audit services to entities in various industries including construction, distribution, financial institutions and professional services firms. She is skilled in first-time through audit engagements and providing audit services to public (SEC) and privately held companies.
Astrid has experience with business process automation and internal controls testing through her involvement of audits of public companies as well as providing advisory services on SOX 404 compliance.
Astrid is primarily responsible for managing client relationships, monitoring the progress of audit engagements, and overseeing the work of audit teams. She serves as the liaison among principals, clients and staff by researching practice area issues and providing guidance. She also assists the principals with business development initiatives.
