Marc S. Dickler, CPA*, is a principal in the Audit Department at MBAF. Marc is the principal-in-charge of the firm’s Baltimore office and heads the Automotive Dealerships Audit Practice.
Marc brings over 30 years of experience in public accounting including five years as a CFO/Comptroller for two large automotive dealership groups. He is highly skilled in advising a wide range of clients and brings to bear the resources of the firm in the areas of tax and accounting, technology consulting, litigation support and business valuation. Marc has testified as an expert witness on numerous cases regarding various issues including lost profits, wrongful employee discharge and franchise rights.
Marc was one of the CPAs who co-authored the first Auto Dealership Engagement Manual, published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, which served as a foundation and an instructional manual for accountants auditing and consulting with automotive dealerships when first published. He has also lectured at the AICPA National Automobile Conference on GAAP issues, among other topics.
