Deborah Ladron de Guevara, CPA, has been named a principal in MBAF’s Audit department. The announcement was made by Tony Argiz, Chairman and CEO of MBAF.

Ladron de Guevara has been in practice since 1999 and has extensive experience in external audit assignments covering accounting, compliance and regulatory issues, in a variety of industries including broker-deals, financial institutions, hospitality, insurance companies, manufacturing, real estate, technology and internet, and wholesale and distribution. She also assists public and privately held companies in first-time through audit services by providing business advisory services such as analyzing the quality of earnings and performing due diligence procedures to assess the risks and benefits of all transactions.

“Since joining MBAF, Deborah has established herself as an invaluable asset to the firm’s leadership team, continuously showcasing her external auditing and first-time audit service expertise through exceptional client service,” said Argiz. “This elevation is a testament to Deborah’s hard work and dedication, and we look forward to her continued success within the firm.”

An active volunteer in the community, Ladron de Guevara has worked with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Outreach Program, Junior League of Miami and the Women’s Leadership Council. She also served as treasurer on the Coconut Grove Cares Board of Directors and on the United Way Miami-Dade Audit Committee.

Ladron de Guevara graduated from Florida International University, where she earned a Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Accounting. She is also a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants and Florida Institute for Certified Public Accountants.
