Alvaro is a Principal in the Risk & Transaction Advisory practice at MBAF. He has over 26 years of experience helping clients with strategy, business process improvement, technology enablement, and Information technology security and risk mitigation solutions. Alvaro has led multiple implementations of ERP (SAP) systems, in support of accounting, finance, procurement, human resources, sales, distribution and manufacturing process transformations, as well as enterprise performance solutions such as SAP BPC and Hyperion, supporting reporting and analytics, as well as planning, forecasting and consolidation.
Prior to joining MBAF, Alvaro was a partner with a big 4 firm, where he led global, transformational initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, including IT strategy and IT effectiveness, business process and technology enablement, as well as project management, risk management and design and implementation of system security and IT controls. Alvaro also assisted global organizations in the development and deployment of data management strategies, including master data management, data security, privacy and classification. Some notable clients Alvaro has served include Nike, Honda, DHL, Flowserve, TEVA, Opko Health, AutoNation, Bacardi, Burger King, Ryder and Florida Power and Light.
