Erick R. Wendelken, CPA, is a principal in the Tax and Accounting Department at MBAF. He has been in the public accounting profession since 1999 and joined MBAF in 2001.
Erick has proven expertise in advising clients on the various areas of domestic and international tax. These include offshore voluntary disclosures, U.S. real estate investments by foreigners, tax planning for multi-national businesses, and pre-immigration and expatriation planning. In addition to advising, Erick is able to provide all required tax compliance services.
As part of his involvement with the real estate industry, Erick also assists real estate investors and developers with cost segregation studies for properties valued between $500,000 to $450,000,000 as well as Like-Kind Exchanges.
As one of the firm’s younger principals, Erick represents MBAF’s commitment to innovation and recruiting top-flight talent. He takes an active role within the Tax and Accounting Department including leading and managing MBAF’s Certifying Acceptance Agent Agreement and Electronic Filing with the IRS.
